Call For Entries
We'd like to start the new millennium as we wish to continue; with lots of
great work on our pages. So let's start by publishing a bumper crop of your
work. Entries are called for the first annual Portfolio issue of Design
Graphics magazine. See and be seen!
Free to enter!
That's right. There is no charge to submit your work for this special issue.
Categories
There are 2 categories: 'Anything' and 'Everything'.
We expect to see stuff such as graphic design, digital illustration, image
manipulation, photography, new media, 3D, web sites and so on. Nothing is
off limits.
Graphic design
Digital illustration
Photography (digitally enhanced)
Editorial design
Corporate design
Logotypes
Fonts and typography
3D
Television graphics
Television commercials
Movie titles and effects
Web graphics
In fact, just about anything created with some of the cool tools now
available.
Formats
Not so generous here.
Tiff images 5Mb to 30Mb, RGB or CMYK
EPS files
All entries must be suitable (large enough) to allow for print
reproduction.
Do NOT send low res images and ask us to get back to you if we are
interested. Send only high res images (OK, except for web graphics).
Do NOT send emails with attachments (you will be disqualified!).
Number
A maximum of 6 per person. No cheating!
Media to send
CD-ROM preferred (Mac or PC). You can use Zip disks too, but no entries can
be returned. No exceptions, sorry.

Design Graphics will not be responsible for any loss or damage to any
material supplied for the Design Graphics Portfolio, however caused. Design
Graphics will not be responsible for any loss or damage arising from, or
incidental to, the Design Graphics Portfolio.
Design Graphics will not be responsible for any freight or carrier costs
associated with any entry.
No payment will be made for reproduction of images and material
supplied.
The material supplied may be used by Design Graphics for publication in the
Portfolio issue of the magazine. If the material supplied is considered
suitable for publication in another related publication (such as a Design
Graphics Portfolio book), the people supplying the material will be
contacted separately and reproduction permission sought.

Portfolio issue.
Download a Design Graphics subscription form (also in Rich Text Format) with
great savings (in case you are tired of looking over someone else's shoulder
and would like your own copies).
