"Hi there,
The information forwarded to AGDA was incorrect. There is an error in the details of the prizes I'd like to clarify.
The first prize is an inspirational prize pack curated by MINK ENGINE. It consists of dvds, a book, magazine subscription, art objects,
and other cool stuff. The prize is intended to inspire and invest $ back to artists who've created great art and design.
For further details please download the information at Australian Infront"

"To all concerned.
It seems there has been an error in the information distributed. The Australian Infront would like to apologize for the confusion. There is no cash prize for this project - repeat - there is no cash prize for this project. At the 11th hour, Mink Engine and The Australian INfront agreed to change the prize listings to a fantastic art pack of books, dvds & artwork, all of which is stated in the download brief pack on the Australian INfront website. The information listed here on the AGDA website was a preliminary promotional release - and all details found on the Australian INfront website are correct.
Should you wish to find out more please do not hesitate to contact me.
My best regards
Dom Bartolo"

"Avoid competitions where the intent is to avoid the payment of professional fees
Check the competition rules for conditions associated with ownership of IP.
Public competitions produce good results when the outcome required is largely publicity or community engagement. Using competitions to develop commercially important designs is dangerous. The variables associated with lack of direct communication between client and designer, the various skill levels of the participants and the relative design assessment skills of the judging panel all contribute to unreliable results."
