FAQ

AGDA Victoria B3 seminar

Tuesday 22 June 2004 6.30pm for 7.15 start

Who owns your designs? What can you/they do with them? What is the difference between a licence and assignment and does it matter? How can you share ownership of your designs? If you have a really good product idea, is it protected? How? How do leading product originators - like Philippe Starck, Marc Newson etc - make money from their ideas? Trade marks - how you can make sure that your work for clients doesn't get ripped off? Is it legal to copy brands? (hint: the answer may surprise you). Why trade marks are important for your clients? What is the biggest mistake made by designers?
