AGDA B2 seminar:
Tuesday 25 May 2004 6.30pm for 7.15 start
Let's assume you're already onto the broad business stuff such as business plans, budgets and marketing programs, presentation skills, staffing and motivation, but. Guess what? There's more. Your plan for success now depends upon the smooth day-to-day working of the studio. That's all about planning and managing the infrastructure, systems and processes that support the creative output. Tonight focuses on (some) nitty-gritty responsibilities, like: Cost and quality control. Good estimating. Job budgets. Filing and records retrieval. OH&S issues. Materials and services. Resource planning and allocation. Timesheets. Project management. Stocking the 'fridge. (And no, this is NOT design management.)
