This is an art exhibition that celebrates the life and influence of Western suburbs community youth worker and Western Bulldogs supporter Les Twentyman. Here we have a passionate man who has dedicated his life in "giving for and getting" underprivileged members of our community, a fairer go. Recently nominated as a finalist for Australian of the Year he has championed many campaigns and causes for the West, that 'make a difference'.
Trevor Flett, the artist, also born, raised and educated in the western suburbs of Melbourne has a deep appreciation of Les Twentyman's work. "He is certainly one of my heroes and gets things done by going outside his comfort zones. For me, he epitomises the 'western spirit', and that marvellous way of going where personal values drive your life and are not negotiable." Trevor is one of the founders of AGDA, Vice President of the Western Bulldogs AFL team, chairman of FutureBrand and a regular contributor in the Archibald.
