The Award winning designs of some of Australia's best and brightest designers will go on display at Monash University on Wednesday, 9 October as part of the Australian Design Excellence 2002 exhibition.
The Exhibition is a touring national exhibition featuring the finest works of new designers in Australia, with special emphasis on Victoria. The exhibition will showcase winning products in this year's Australian Design Awards and all the national finalists and the national winner (a Victorian design student).
The Award winning designs on display include:
"Goldie", the world's first handheld electric surf rescue vehicle, winner of the Gold Australian design Award Dyson Student Award;
Scorpion Electro which is made of carbon fibre and can travel up to 25 km per hour, winner of the Silver Dyson Student Award;
Rex-Mobile Home Entertainment System, Bronze winner.
