As the first event on the AGDA 2008 Calendar, the Gordon Andrews Scholarship Trivia Night ensures everyone has the opportunity to get into the spirit of AGDA's 'year of networking' with a little bit of face to face interaction...
Alex Ritchie, designer extraordinaire, has kindly agreed to take the lead as MC for what promises to be quite a competitive night aimed at raising funds for AGDA's Gordon Andrews Scholarship. The Scholarship is a $3,000 prize awarded to an AGDA member who is completing undergraduate or post-graduate design research through a formal NSW tertiary education program. But, in order to give them the $$, we need your support! Book a table for your studio or fellow students. Frankly, any like-minded individuals welcome.
Needless to say, the night's prizes are an impressive lot: A herringbone clothing vougher (Eskimo), a Royal Doulton crystal case, signed posters (GollingsPidgeon), an autographed book (Paul Davis) and a landscape print by the brilliant photographer, Glen Wilk (www.wilk.com.au), represented by Network Agency, all to be given away on the night. And for the winning team, showbags full of other great loot to show-off.
