Make the transition from screen to plate as seamless as possibleÉ
Mark Stevens from Penfold Buscombe believes that 90% of the quality of a print job is determined in pre-press. Mark will explain, amongst other things, how offset works, the mechanics of imposition, understanding paper, the various types of proofing, understanding how to read your proof, what to look out for in pre-press and a few
other tricks of the trade. We will also be touring the extensive facilities at Penfold
Buscombe, getting a first hand look at pre-press processes in action, seeing how
CTP works and getting a look at the quality advances in digital offset.
If youÕve ever had an outcome in a print job that wasnÕt quite what you expected, if you have questions you would like to ask of experienced pre-press and production people, or if you just want to check out some serious offset printing presses and the latest in digital and CTP technologies, then this seminar is for you.
