Results of a presentation at AGDA Victoria seminar B2 held on Tuesday 10 May 2005 by Tracey Davies and Shaun Bell of Madgwicks Lawyers.

On 26 May 2005 the Federal Government released a statement announcing its proposed changes to the Australian Workplace Relations system. These changes are expected to be brought about when the Federal Government gains a majority in the Senate from 1 July 2005.

Full details of the proposed changes have not yet been released. However, the attached document indicates the main items.
