AGDA wants to commission a publicist on an annual basis to generate working relationships with the media and selected industry representatives. The results of these relationships will be the positioning of AGDA as a recognised authority on matters of graphic design. Within two years, we wish to have a
regular presence in the Australian general media and be regularly consulted by various sectors of industry, government, education and business.
We expect to start gently, say with about one day of work per month for the first year.
The person we engage must have an understanding of the relationship that design has to its established markets and stakeholders.
Whether working as an individual from a home office, or with a team within a firm, we are not fussed.
Experience in representing graphic design businesses and/or associations similar to AGDA is highly desirable.
So, if anyone knows how this need can be filled, we would appreciate a referral.
