Thank you to all AGDA Awards entrants
A big thank you to all who entered work in the 2006 AGDA National Biennial Awards. Entries were also received from New Zealand, Singapore, United Kingdom, Japan.
There was a lot of work involved in the submission process and your efforts are very much appreciated. We value your feedback and will take them all on board for the 2008 AGDA Awards.
It will be a while before everything is processed as more than 2000 entries were received at last count by the close of deadline, exceeding all previous records. So please note that it will take a few weeks before credit cards will be charged.
Judging is now underway
Judging is very much underway, with one section completed and two more to go. Thank you to the Adelaide team for hosting the process, in particular Rita Siow, Brenton Murray, Adam Carpenter, Ben Saunders, Lale Gulser, Helen Beltsos, Christine Harous and Pascale Porquier.
The identity of judges will be announced when all results have been collated and ratified for awards presentation.
Here are some judges comments so far:
- I was so very impressed at the level of participation by the industry and the standard of work
- I think the judging process should be revealed in the book to show how impartial the awards are
- There was some very beautiful work.... it was certainly a mammoth task.... my brain was still churning days after
- I think it was very professionally done and your team were excellent. A great bunch of judges too.
