Spicers+Paper Point

There is nothing more exciting than a blank piece of paper, paper is a promise - it is one half of a relationship waiting to be completed by the other half - your vision.

For a paper merchant to say that paper in itself is worthless sounds strange. But it's true. Without a message to impart or emotion to evoke, it's just paper. So at Spicers Paper, we don't just see ourselves as a paper merchant. We see ourselves as a total resource to help bring your vision to life.

It doesn't matter if you're an international conglomerate or the corner shop owner. From the moment a concept is sparked in your mind's eye, to the time it reaches the hands of its intended audience, Spicers Paper has the people, the knowledge and the passion to help turn humble paper into something that informs, educates and inspires.

We reckon the potential in each new blank piece of paper is very exciting. If you think the same way chances are we're in for a very fulfilling relationship.

Billy Blue

Billy Blue, the man, first came to public notice before the London courts in the late 1700's and arrived in Sydney as a convict in 1801. He was given a seven year sentence for stealing a small amount of sugar. He was thought to have been half American Indian, half African black. He became good friends with Governor Macquarie, not easy for a black ex con, then or now. He began a rowing boat service connecting the south side of Sydney Harbour with the north and although he was caught smuggling barrels of rum tied to the bottom of his boat he was eventually given a grant of 80 acres at what is now called Blues Point. Based on the principle that being able to deliver is important but it only really pays off when it's backed by original thinking and a great idea, it's a heritage we've followed ever since.
