SOSznanie (Awareness): Open Social Poster Competition on the HIV/AIDS Issues
The SOSznanie (Awareness) Competition is conceived as a part of the Contemporary Arts in Response to HIV/AIDS project carried out by the Cultural Policy Institute with the support of UNESCO Moscow Office for Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Republic of Moldova and Russian Federation in the framework of the programme Cultural Approach to the HIV/AIDS Prevention and Care. The Competition is held in collaboration with the British Higher School of Art and Design, Moscow.

The client is active in cultural and social exchange between Iran and Switzerland. The logo is an expressive combination of the two countries' flags. The colours red and white are shared by both nations and the white cross (from the Swiss flag) symbolizes the cooperation between the two countries.

Eulda ‘06 Winners Showcase
The judging is complete and selected the entries to be published in the 2006 annual are final. EULDA is the new award scheme for graphic designers that rewards the finest logos designed in Europe. The entries to be published were selected by an innovative three-tier jury, comprising ten top design professionals, ten major international clients and finally ten ordinary people, representing the ultimate target market of consumers.

BraunPrize 2007
The closing date for the BraunPrize 2007 is 31 January 2007. This year’s total prize money amounts to EUR 36,000. Call for Papers: International Journal of Design
The International Journal of Design is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal devoted to publishing research papers in all fields of design, including industrial design, visual communication design, interface design, animation and game design, architectural design, urban design, and other design related fields. It aims to provide an international forum for exchange of ideas and findings from researchers across different cultures, by encouraging research on the impacts of cultural factors on design theory and practice. It also seeks to promote transfer of knowledge between professionals in academia and industry, by emphasizing research where results are of interest or applicable to design practices.
