Electronic version of the Summary Report of the Women in Design Survey now available
The electronic version of the Summary Report of the Women In Design Survey is now available. Led by Icsid 2003-2005 Board Member, Adrienne Viljoen (South Africa) in order to assist Icsid and Icograda in their quest to become more knowledgeable about the specific concerns that women have in the design world, the Women In Design Survey explores issues such as: influence characteristics, work/lifestyle balance, networking opportunities, equality of career opportunities and work levels and the willingness to participate in a leadership role.

Sappi selects Stockholm for its annual European print awards celebration
On 14 October 2005 Sappi announced that the 2006 Sappi European Printers of the Year gala awards presentation will take place in Stockholm, Sweden. Last year the event took place in the historic Topkapi Palace in Istanbul, Turkey and was attended by 330 printers and paper suppliers from across Europe and the Middle East.

Graphex '06: Canadian National Design Awards Competition welcomes international communication design authorities for launch
On 18 November 2005, five of the world's most respected authorities on communication design will arrive in Vancouver to launch the GDC Graphex'06 National Design Awards Competition. They will lecture and share their thoughts on discussion topics including 'Canadianess' and the question of unique identifiable Canadian design on the world stage.
