How happy are your clients? The only way to find out is to ask
By Linda Cooper Bowen

As creative people, many of us are so busy that we don't bother to take the time to look at the big picture of how our business is running. Marketing and self-promotion often have a low priority as day-to-day activities of managing the office take precedent over future plans. Unless you have a full time marketing person taking care of promotion and new business development, chances are you don't think about marketing until you are hungry for clients...

O P I N I O N

In this week's Feature article, marketing consulting Linda Bowen suggests to find out how happy your clients are by conducting a client survey.

Have you ever conducted a client survey?

Share your opinion http://www.icograda.org/web/opinion

F R O M  P R E V I O U S  O P I N I O N

Marketing your services to get new clients takes time, money and effort. For those who want to expand their clientele, it helps to learn from the experiences of others. So based on your experience...

What is the most cost-effective approach for getting new clients?

  • Networking (e.g. joining professional associations, attending conferences, social - events, etc.) - 47%
  • Advertising campaigns (e.g. print and Internet-based advertising) - 10%
  • Hiring a sales/marketing individual or company - 46%

Totals shown may be more or less than 100% due to rounding.
