Pepperjack Cabernet Sauvignon

Designing packaging for the Pepperjack Cabernet Sauvignon has proved to be a rewarding experience for CPd. Their design has been awarded two major international awards. Winning the top award in the packaging category at the recent Singapore Design Awards and a bronze in the packaging design category at the prestigious CLIO Awards in New York.
Chris Perks [not equal] Creative Director
With over 20 years experience in graphic design, Chris has worked on design programs nationally and internationally. CPd is now at a point where it is one of the fastest growing design consultancy in Australia.
Alan Morrison [not equal] Senior Designer
Before joining Cpd, Alan has gained his extensive experience working with some of Australia's biggest private companies, Victorian Government Departments and State Government Business Enterprises.

Freelancers, Beware!
From Visual Arts Trends
According to the Graphic Artists Guild Contract Monitor, CondÈ Nast Publications is attempting to take advantage of its freelance contributors. The company's Freelance Artists Agreement has imposed a multitude of unfavorable conditions, including the right to re-license works to third parties. The Guild has initiated a letter-writing campaign.

Design Ranch is a three-night, 2 1/2 day event, where guests spend time in hands-on workshops led by some of the country's most esteemed creative minds. Confirmed speakers include Seymour Chwast, Paula Scher, Chip Kidd, Modern Dog Partners Robyn Raye and Mark Strassburger, and photographer Dan Winters. Other workshops include paper-making, cattle roping, branding, sculpture, silkscreening and bookbinding. The 360-acre Guadalupe River Ranch near Boerne presents an environment where one can hike, bike, ride horseback, canoe, fish, swim in your choice of river or pool, play tennis, and just plain old relax.

Around the theme [greater equal]Who's the Boss?[less equal] a number of exhibitions will be presented as they are every year; amongst them, the successful experimental work of Peret for Barcelona and l'Hospitalet in Spain, the Groninger Museum's visual message by Swip Stolk of the Netherlands, the work of Raymond Savignac for Trouville/Mer, and the contribution devised by the collective [less equal]Nous Travaillons Ensemble[less equal] for Dieppe. GÈrard Paris-Clavel, last year's prize-winner, will be showing a selection of his most recent work. And of course the shortlist for the international competition and the students' competition will be on display. The full program of exhibitions, shows and events will be available from March 15 2001.
