Earthquake in India

The recent earthquake in western Gujarat State in India has claimed thousands of lives and wreaked havoc on the infrastructure of state and federal institutions. The National Institute of Design (NID) located in Ahmedabad has been damaged. Present news accounts of the current state of NID has come from e-mail and third party accounts, therefore the situation is still evolving.
