Brian Eno in Seoul!
David Grossman: "Oullim," -- The Great Harmony -- is a unique opportunity for the world's community of visual communicators to examine their potential and express their abilities. At a time when technological advances minimize the relevance of distances and borders, basic questions of individual, cultural and national identity arise daily. AIGA/MN begins search for chapter director

W: http://www.aigaminn.org,

The AIGA/Minnesota will become the first AIGA chapter to hire a paid director. With a membership of more than 1,000 creative professionals, AIGA/MN is second in size only to the New York chapter, which also is home to the national AIGA headquarters. The candidates need not be designers, but should have an understanding of the profession and the AIGA's role in supporting that future. Experience in business and financial administration also would be an asset.

CoDesigning 2000 An International Conference of the Design Research Society
W:
http://dougal.derby.ac.uk/drc/co-design

In recent years, the view of design as an essentially individual creative activity has come under increasing question. Instead, for a variety of reasons, design is being viewed, studied and developed as a group process. The CoDesigning 2000 conference aims to report the current concerns, issues and perspectives driving the research and practice of design as a group process. If you are engaged in exploring design as a collective, collaborative, or even community process then your work is of interest to CoDesigning 2000.
