Poster for 13th Salon International de l'affiche in Taiwan
Designer: Andy Lee
Member of Taiwan Graphic Design Association (TGDA)
Client: Taiwan Graphic Design Association (TGDA)
This poster is something about "watching somebody to do something" which is similar to the theme of exhibition tour. The sense of humor is immersed in this poster. Quite cute, isn't it?

Have a look at Galeria: http://www.icograda.org

Nuts and bolts, apples and oranges: Trademark basics for visual artists
By Craig J.J. Snyder, Esq.
Contributing author, Visual Arts Trends

Today, it is more important than ever that visual artists of all specialties understand the laws that apply to what they do for a living. This article concentrates on one aspect of such laws on trademarks. A must-read for every creative professional, it describes the greatest misconceptions about legal rights in trademarks, the importance of official registration, and methods of protecting your marks. This is highly recommended reading for designers involved in corporate or brand identity work, as well as for anyone running a business or marketing products and services under a unique name.

The Top 100 Types of All Time?
W: http://www.tdc.org/resource/r_main.htm
The responsible of the Type Directors Club (TDC) would like to challenge the tdc membership to submit their top 100 typefaces-but based solely on aesthetic and functional considerations. They will tabulate the results and announce them in their next newsletter. Souvenir, anyone?

The Crowning Touch
published by Danish design Centre
E: design@ddc.dk
ISBN 87-90904-02-8 (hardcover), 87-90904-03-6(softcover)
This book represents the last 10 years of identity programs for Danish public sector bodies, designed by Kim Meyer Andersen, Bo Linnemann and their design agency Kontrapunkt.
A common feature of these designs is that they all wear the Danish Crown as the symbol of the state. The identity programs reflect a lively, but cultural based visual face for a substancial part of the danish central administration bodies, all wearing the Danish crown as a symbol of the state such as: The Royal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, The Ministry of Finance, The Ministry of Education, The Ministry of Culture and The Ministry of Cities and Housing.
