The Icograda Foundation Scholarship
Background
To mark the occasion of the Twenty-fifth Icograda/Sappi Design Seminar, The
ICOGRADA Foundation will make a study grant:
Prize
- Free entry to the Seminar on 22 and 23 February 1999, at the Odeon
Cinema, Leicester Square, London
- Free hotel accommodation for 2 nights and rail travel within the UK (if
the winner is outside the UK a travel allowance of 500 pounds sterling will
be made.)
- 1 year membership of the FRIENDS of ICOGRADA.
Eligibility
Entrants must be a member of an ICOGRADA Member Association or a FRIEND of
ICOGRADA and aged under 30 years on 1 January 1999.
Submission
The Scholarship will be awarded to the writer who, in the opinion of the
judges, produces the best 250 word essay on "Graphic Design - Where are we going?". The work may be in English, Spanish or French. A short
biographical note should be included, accompanied by name/address,
fax/telephone/email and either FRIENDS of ICOGRADA number or name of
ICOGRADA Member Association.
Last Entry
Entries should be addressed to the Director of the Foundation and arrive no
later than 1 January 1999.

The President and Board of ICOGRADA
Notification
The winner will be notified in writing by the Director of the Foundation in
January 1999.
